About Us

Fit For The Job is a range of DIY decorating tools and accessories from Rodo Ltd, a family-owned decorating tools company based in Manchester, UK. Rodo has been making and supplying decorating products since the 1940s and traces its roots back to 1926, and is also the business behind ProDec, the professional trade brand. Fit For The Job takes that expertise and puts it into straightforward, good-value tools for people decorating their own homes.

Our range covers the essentials for any painting and decorating project: paint brushes, paint rollers, scrapers and filling knives, dust sheets, tapes and more. Whether you’re painting a bedroom, freshening up a hallway or preparing woodwork, Fit For The Job has the tools you need from preparation to finish, in sizes and sets suited to home use.

Every Fit For The Job product is designed to do its job well, be easy to use and offer reliable results at an affordable price. You don’t need to be a professional decorator to get a tidy, even finish. You just need the right tools, and that’s what we aim to provide. We are passionate about our products and strive to support and evolve the industry through product innovation and diversity. We always keep a close eye out to ensure we meet the challenges of a market where – especially in paint – technology is constantly evolving.

Fit For The Job products are available from DIY stores, builders’ merchants and online retailers across the UK. Backed by Rodo’s long experience in the decorating industry, our range is a dependable choice for DIYers who want quality tools without paying trade prices.
